Hotel Fox: Irony & Minimalism
Dayna Bieber
Art 491 - Pease
Located in Copenhagen, Hotel Fox is home to 61 rooms designed by international artists in the fields of graphic design, illustration, and urban art. The students of 91 designs were asked to create a room with their own unique style. I decided to use tiny dots to form the letters in one of my favorite quotes. Welcome to my room of irony & minimalism. {click on the image to enlarge and view details}

logo design
S0nheath is a music publishing company based in Arizona. The name of the company embraces the surrounding indigenous culture. To communicate this concept in the logo, I used red colors and triangle shapes. In many Native American cultures, stars (and triangles) are signs of importance- they represent having direction and meeting goals. The color red is also very important, as it symbolizes passion, creativity, communication, and success.

ART 291
Studio 1201 is an urban apparel retail outfit for women. The clean, modern design reflects the company's style of clothing. The form in the logo is composed of circles, with the yellow and blue giving way to a green mass in the center. This stands to represent the company's environmental stance, in creating a high quality, fashionable product that is also "green."
