Hotel Fox Proposal
The concept of this room is that of a life sized sushi space. The bed is filled with sushi pillows. (Depending on the size of the bed utilized, the amount of pillows used will vary.) Underneath the pillows covering the bed is a comforter that is white on the surface and sushi green below (so when one goes to sleep they wrap themselves and become a human sized sushi roll.)
The walls are a simple white with a black silhouetted pattern. The floor can be wood, bamboo, or cork paneling with similar window treatments. The panels on the right are backlit.
Below is the rest of the room. It contains two life sized bowls that are meant to serve as seating. The idea is that one climbs inside and is sitting in either a rice bowl or a miso soup bowl. In between the two bowls is a small table with a chopstick lantern lamp.
An explanation of the composition of the bowls and table lamp are included below.
In the search of samples of sushi rolls, I stumbled upon these preexisting ones from "theoriginalsushipillow.com". Although i have found other examples of these pillows, this site was the first to create them.
Overall, I want the guest(s) in this room to enjoy, relax, and have fun arranging the pillows and bowls to suit their heart(s) or tummy(ies) desire.
