When working on the book design I wanted to do something humorous that incorporated art. I thought of the gnome's that have been photographed everywhere and I wanted to do something similar with our mascot Sebastian. I photographed Sebastian on all the statues on campus and creative a polaroid style scrapbook of all the images. 
Hunger is something that deeply saddens me. This website provides the alarming numbers of money and food wasted and people dying as a result of not having nutrition. 
When thinking of liquid I wanted something that related directly to another thing. I used oil to write the word greasy on a pizza box and left the pizza within the box to make it appear more realistic.
