Taco Bell? Taco Hell!

After being given the option to make any logo into a pun, I decided immediately to use google and choose oogle. After watching a movie recently, one of the characters made the joke that google was only used for porn. I thought it would be funny to turn it into to oogle to make this point.

I redesigned the myspace logo so the three icons that represent people have on binoculars as if they are looking into someone else's life. I feel that many social networks have become gateways for people to stalk people and learn about others lives without even having to try. It is no longer "my space" it becomes someone else's space, therefore "their space".

The traditional "U" logo was split and transformed into a dollar sign to represent how expensive the school as well as to throw a political jab at the university and how student repeatedly state how the university "only cares about their money."

This may be too graphic for some. I just wanted to show that our last project "Out of Context" has actual applications to convey a message. As of February 2009: PETA lifts its moratorium against McDonald's after the company fails to require that its U.S. chicken suppliers adopt a less cruel method of slaughter.
