Sweet Simplicity: Sweet 'n Low Print Campaign

ART491 - Pease

This campaign was inspired by the eco-friendly, health conscious, on-the-go, female consumer who is the main target for Sweet 'n Low. I decided to update the signature pink packet with a more modern design and shape that reflects the dissolvability of the product.

I created the dissolvable packet concept after realizing how many times I tear my sugar packet and throw the annoyingly small pieces into the garbage. I thought, "Why not design a packet where the package is the sweetner itself?!" The new wafer paper packet dissolves into any beverage, leaving no waste behind. This is the new generation of sweetness!

Logo

Yum Cha means "drinking tea" in Cantonese. It also refers to a dining experience of eating small servings of foods. This is why I created Yum Cha, an elegant oriental food restaurant that will immerse every customer into the chinese culture. It will offer customers a unique dining experience with small servings of different foods and it will offer different teas. More than a dining experience it will be a cultural experience.

The Miami Laundry

The Miami Laundry is a laundry service that has been around for ages. With its new renovations, The Miami Laundry is becoming a more efficient company with an eco-friendly take on their services. They are updating their look and adding a new logo to the companies name. These new logos will represent the changes the company has made using crisp colors and clean shapes.

Logo Design

This is a logo design for Studio 1201, a retro chic, 1970s revival women's fashion line. The logo shape is based on the circle, a popular shape used in 1970s design and patterns. I wanted to communicate that Studio 1201 is a chic and refined fashion line, by creating a simple, clean and organized design.

Sweet Simplicity TV Commercial Storyboard

Rhombus Logos

"Yum Cha" is a Cantonese term that means drinking tea, and it is very important part of their culture. Families, especially on weekend mornings gather to relax and share this tradition. Thus these logos are for a tea house. I'm putting a trendy spin to the traditional tea house; this tea house will have a much more modern style serving mainly teas and a few other food options, but it will focus more so on the tea than food.

The rhombus, which are represented in each of the designs, means "spinning top" or "two right circular cones sharing a common base." For the Yum Cha brand, this symbolizes family members or friends coming together to drink tea and share stories and time together. In playing cards, the suit of diamonds also relates to physical health. Thus this symbolizes the health aspect of the brand for the physical aspects and the mental serenity, emphasized by thea the colors I selected.

Yum Cha logos

My geometric shape was that of the infinity symbol.
--The first logo is for a much more modern Yum Cha, where both men and women could go. As opposed to a teahouse, this Yum Cha is more of an Asian bistro. I added chopsticks into the empty space between Yum and Cha that had previously been awkward, but wasn't sure if that was allowed, as it wasn't part of my original geometric shape.
--This second logo is for Yum Cha, if it was quaint teahouse, as the translation of the name would generally imply. This version of Yum Cha is decorated very femininely with a floral motif.
