Rhombus Logos

"Yum Cha" is a Cantonese term that means drinking tea, and it is very important part of their culture. Families, especially on weekend mornings gather to relax and share this tradition. Thus these logos are for a tea house. I'm putting a trendy spin to the traditional tea house; this tea house will have a much more modern style serving mainly teas and a few other food options, but it will focus more so on the tea than food.

The rhombus, which are represented in each of the designs, means "spinning top" or "two right circular cones sharing a common base." For the Yum Cha brand, this symbolizes family members or friends coming together to drink tea and share stories and time together. In playing cards, the suit of diamonds also relates to physical health. Thus this symbolizes the health aspect of the brand for the physical aspects and the mental serenity, emphasized by thea the colors I selected.
