The mission of SSA is to fund art programs in South Florida public schools (and eventually across the country). These programs have been disappearing under budget cuts, and studies have shown that art programs are vital in the development of a child’s mind. Not only is it an outlet for them to express their emotions, but it helps them form problem solving skills and enhances their academic learning. Students will use their work to put on shows, volunteer at schools, and spread awareness about the importance of the arts as a part of a child's education.
